What is “TBR”? TBR is “to be read” which is a group of books that someone plans to read. While I am absolutely a mood reader (meaning that the book I want to read changes depending on the mood that I’m in), I do have a loose TBR for 2025.
First, I’m going to prioritize reading the physical books that I own but haven’t read yet. Out of the 127 (fiction) books that I own, I haven’t read 28 of them.
They are:
Tuesdays with Morrie
Little Women
My Diary from the Edge of the World
Well of Dreams
Six of Crows
Crooked Kingdom
Marrow and Soul
A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder
Good Girl, Bad Blood
As Good as Dead
Once I Knew
All the King’s Horses
The Memories We Painted
Our Yellow Tape Letters
Words of Silver and Light
The Winter Charlatan
Heir of Roses
Anne of Avonlea
Anne of the Island
Anne of Windy Poplars
Anne’s House of Dreams
Anne of Ingleside
Rainbow Valley
Rilla of Ingleside
Dance of Thieves
The Heart Shot
Dragon King’s Captive
An Awfully Big Adventure
Next, I joined a fiction book club with some ladies from my church, so reading those books–though not all decided–is my next priority.
As I can easily read fifty books in a year, this list is absolutely doable. But all of that to say, it doesn’t matter how many books you can read, if you read one book, you’re a reader.
